Whether you’re exploring calm waters or savoring quiet moments on shore, Thunderbird Nest offers a perfect balance of comfort, nature, and wellness. ❄️Seasonal Note: The dock, kayaks and other water amenities are winterized and unavailable from approximately November through late April or early May, depending on weather conditions. The hot tub and sauna remain open year-round for your enjoyment.

🐾 Pets We’re happy to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs at Thunderbird Nest! The pet fee is $89 per pet, per day. When booking, Airbnb will automatically include the first pet fee in your total. If you’re bringing a second dog, we’ll simply send a request for the additional fee after booking. Want to bring more than 2 dogs? Please send us an inquiry first — we occasionally approve on a case-by-case basis depending on breed, size, and group details.We provide pet waste bags, and guests are expected to clean up after their pets. A $50 waste pick-up fee will apply if pet waste is left on the property. Per Michigan law, all pets must remain on a leash when outdoors. 🧾 Management Fee/ Damage Coverage A $95 management fee applies to each reservation. This fee covers damage insurance coverage up to $5,000, providing peace of mind for both guests and host during your stay.
